Spring Cleaning for Charity
Xcellent Xteriors loves Lakeland!
We wanted to give back to our beloved community, but how? This past March, a brilliant idea was developed as we sat and brainstormed with the geniuses of Maximize Digital Media… A charity campaign!
We are all subjected to solicitation on what seems like a daily basis, so we didn’t want to bombard our fans with more solicitation. Instead, we just asked for participation!
The nomination phase was for nominations of a local charity who would then be added to a voting list. After a couple weeks of nominations, we started the voting phase! Anyone could vote once per day and at the end of the voting phase the highest number of votes won!
This great photo features Ryan and Lauren Edrington of Xcellent Xteriors alongside members of the winning organization, Lakeland Youth Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2008. Their mission is to provide a safe space for GLBTQ youth and their straight allies in Central Florida.
We were honored to present them with a check for $1,776.40!
The 1st Annual Spring Cleaning for Charity was a great success! We are thankful for all those who participated! See you in the Spring of 2016!
